Actually, I have no idea what I’ve got. I found this graphics card in a desk drawer. I don’t even know why I have it. I’m guessing there’s really nothing special about it, or that it’s so old as to be of little value.

I usually look for a white sticker on the back that may have some part number or something similar and then run that through the magic Googol machine. Nine times out of ten something like this is an OEM Dell or HP card (since it’s low-profile and next to nobody build their own LP system) that’s worth about thirty two cents.

I believe its an ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT - seems to be an entry-ish level card , possibly from around 2011.

That would be about right. I don’t remember swapping anything out around that time. Not even sure why I have it.

Omg this is totally a Nibby special. ATI was taken over by AMD in like 2006 or something and ATI branded cards stopped happening soon after. You've found a piece of history.

I wouldn’t be surprised - I found that date on the Passmark site as the first date a benchmark for that card was submitted . Though, I’m guessing not many people were/are benchmarking this card.

Notice the non-standard DVI type connection, those required a breakout cable to give you dua l-DVI connections or a combination or DVI/15-pin.
That thing is a relic , I'm surprised it's not sporting an AGP bus connection.

those were meant for multi-monitor setups back before they were piss easy to set up, thus the DMS59 connector. you’ll need the adapter/Y cable in order to do anything useful with it.

Well, it’s destined for the e-waste collection as it is.

Likely came out of one of those small-form-factor Dells.

I still think ATI in my head about half the time when thinking of AMD graphics cards...

What was said before. Dual monitor setup. Coincidentally, I have one of these just sitting here from the wife’s work PC that just went TU. The tech support people are working remotely so they were of absolutely no help when the power supply failed Friday trapping her documents in a dead PC. She brought it home so I could retrieve them, and it will go back next week for replacement. The thing is 10 years old and she is due for an upgrade. Twin cable:
